My name is Constance and I will be the "official blogger" for the Soroptimist International of Davie club. I have been a member since 2002 and am proud to be a part of this remarkable group of ladies. We are a very cool club of professional women who were looking for a way to give something back to the community. Our members represent many different professions: from educators and entrepreneurs to nonprofit business managers and politicians. We share the common mission to help women and girls toward better lives, free from discrimination and violence, improved through education and outreach. If you have visited our web site, you know that we sponsor many local charitable organizations in and around Davie and our major fund raising event is our annual golf tournament in August. I'll be posting all manner of things related to our club's activites, so check back now and then to find out what we're doing!
